The Ankeny Crew is a group of guys that like to ride our bikes. We all live or are from Ankeny. This site will feature some of the riding going on here but there will also be pictures on this site from riders all across Iowa and riders from other states that impress us at the stops we make.
The Ankeny Skate park is our home park. The park opened in the summer of 2002. It is a concrete park.This park is where we spend the majority of our time in the summer since most of us can get to it within minutes.

Chris Where are you from? Ankeny, currently residing in Ames
How long have you been riding? About 5 years
Favorite trick: tailwhips, wallrides, and canadian footjams
Worst crash you have had? I tend to break alot of teeth, so anytime that happens is bad. Or the time the tip of my finger exploded from the doorstop abubica gone horribly amiss.
Street or park? equal mix
Favorite place to ride: Ramp Riders in St. Louis, and Wellmans pub in Des Moines
Favorite music: Alkaline trio and Hot water music
Favorite BMX video: anything by Dave
Favorite BMX rider: Tony Rhodes, because he can do anything he wants, Travis Mccray because nobody else around here does what he does, and Nate Ward because he got me started riding, and hes really good
What do you do when not on your bike? Make an effort to go to class at ISU, spend time with my wonderfull girlfriend, and heckle Travis

What kind of bike setup do you have ? uhh one I like I guess.....tall bars.

Worst crash you have had? nothin major
Street or park? better at street but I dont have a favorite of the two.
